Air Chaser’s Simple Troubleshoot Tips for all Misting Fans:
Unit Is Not Turning On:
If your misting unit is not running, check the power cord and make sure it’s connected to the proper power supply. XPOWER’s misting fans feature a GFCI safety plug which will automatically cut’s off the power to prevent electric shock. Firmly press the reset button on the GFCI safety plug to restart the power.
Misting Droplets Are Too Heavy:
The misting spray emitted by the nozzles should be even. With our FM-48 Misting Fan, you can change the size of the droplets with 3 different nozzles attachments from fine to superfine 0.3mm, offered by Airchaser.com as an add-on item to our customers. If that still does not fix your problem, we suggest cleaning the nozzles. Every so often, the problem is caused by calcification and mineral buildup from hard water. You can easily fix this problem by first disconnecting the power supply, removing the nozzles, and soaking them in vinegar. Then, rinse the nozzles with water and reconnect them.
Unit Leaking Water:
First, we need to locate the leak. We should check all the fittings and hoses then replace the part causing the leak. Most of the time, the leakage is caused by the water supply hose connector to the unit’s hose connector. Make sure everything is in the correct sizing and is tightened properly. If the connection is not tightened properly, check if the rubber seal is missing.
